LEGAL
Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 9 September 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions govern use of Njangi Tracker. By creating or using an account, the user agrees to follow these terms and applicable law.
2. What the service does
Njangi Tracker provides software for recording and organizing group savings information, including members, contributions, cycles, payment history, reliability information and emergency loan records. The software does not itself guarantee a payment, loan or financial outcome.
3. Administrator responsibility
The group administrator is responsible for entering accurate records, controlling access to the administrator account and ensuring that members are handled according to the group's own rules and applicable law.
4. Member information
Administrators should only enter member information that they are authorized to collect and use. Users should not enter passwords, financial account credentials or other information that the application does not require.
5. Contributions and cycles
The application records information supplied by authorized users. A displayed balance, progress value or payment status is a record calculated from the data stored in the system and should be checked against the group's source records when important decisions are made.
6. Emergency loans
Loan requests, approvals, rejections and repayments are administrative records. A reliability score is an application calculation based on recorded contribution history and is not a guarantee of a member's ability or willingness to repay.
7. Acceptable use
Users must not attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with the service, submit malicious code, impersonate another user, or use the service for unlawful activity.
8. Availability and changes
The service may be updated, changed or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or technical reasons. Features may change as the application develops.
9. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Njangi Tracker name, website design and application code are controlled by the operator. Users receive permission to use the service for its intended purpose and do not receive ownership of the software.
10. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information entered by users, unauthorized sharing of account credentials, service interruptions outside the operator's reasonable control, or decisions made solely from application records without appropriate verification.
11. Ending an account
The operator may suspend or end access where necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or material violation of these terms. The operator should provide any additional account closure process it intends to offer before launch.
12. Governing law and contact
The operator should specify the governing law and dispute process that applies to the service before launch. For a Cameroon-based operation, this should be reviewed against applicable Cameroonian law and the operator's actual business structure.
